FRANK SWEENEY

Chief Executive Officer; Director; Co-Founder

Frank has over 25 years of software development experience in the global re|insurance industry. Frank was formerly a Co-Founder, COO and Director of CATEX International, a re|insurance services company with offices in Princeton, London and India. In this role, he was the principal business architect of the company’s technology platform, and he is the named inventor for U.S. Patent No. 8,326,730 issued to the company in 2012.

Prior to his tenure with CATEX, Frank worked as a counsel to the Governor of New Jersey; legislative counsel to the Energy and Commerce Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives; and policy analyst and project manager with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). He is an attorney, and he holds a J.D. from the Stanford Law School and an M.S. from the Stanford Engineering School. He is a graduate of Princeton University (A.B.; Honors; Phi Beta Kappa).

JOHN KELLEY

Chief Operating Officer; Director; Co-Founder

John Kelley has advised firms on invention and innovation strategy at 399 Innovation. He has particular interests in computing, communications, and sustainability. Kelley also serves as an advisor in the SPARK program at the Stanford School of Medicine. He has taught courses on innovation in Silicon Valley and patent policy, litigated intellectual property cases, and led a cable company. Kelley received a J.D. from Stanford, where he pursued an independent research track in artificial intelligence and law, and a B.A. from Swarthmore College. He also studied at Sorø Akadamiet in Denmark on an American Field Service Fellowship.

AMBARISH MALPANI

Senior Technical Advisor

Ambarish Malpani has over 25 years of experience in software development and management.  Ambarish is the CTO at SAP/Concur. Previously, he was the CTO and VP Engineering at Edmodo; CTO and VP Engineering at Cenzic, Inc.; and Co-Founder of ValiCert, which he helped take public in July 2000.  Ambarish also has a wide range of experience in the software engineering and development area - all the way from creating standards in IETF, to creating the first multi-threaded version of Apache.  He has a M.S. in Computer Science from U.C.S.B. and a B.Tech in Computer Science from I.I.T. Bombay.

Leslie DeBauge

Business Development Advisor

Leslie has worked in corporate finance, high yield bond research, and private equity investing since 1992 at companies including Dillon Read, CIBC Oppenheimer, and Greenbridge Capital.  She has consulted to the University of Miami and recently chaired the Board of Directors of Gridics LLC.  Currently, she works with entrepreneurs and investors seeking corporate development and investment expertise.  While at Greenbridge Capital, Leslie served as Observer on the Board of Directors of Cityreach International, and previously held a Board seat with @Security Broadband Corp., a start-up focused on home security.  She founded and chaired the Junior Council for Cancer Research Institute in New York City and served on the Board of the Unity School of Christianity in Kansas City.  Leslie graduated from Harvard College in 1992.
